About UsEAF Logistics is celebrating its 21st year of operations and is now the leading service provider for wideload permits & pilots in Europe Marc Wodehouse started escorting abnormal loads throughout UK and Europe in the mid 80s. He then qualified as a Class 1 driver, gaining valuable experience delivering Abnormal loads on the continent. This is where he initially identified key areas in France where "High & Wide" routes were greatly restricted & where hauliers were having to make unreasonable diversions or wait needless amounts of time for local police escorts etc. All this for no other reason than forward planning, a lack of dedicated routes and overcoming language barriers. Through his inquisitive nature and genuine people skills he was able to reconnoitre new routes and build amicable relations with the Council departments along the main routes in France. His ability to obtain Permits routed specifically to the customers individual requirements, got him the reputation as the 'The Permit Man' and soon Marc's services were being employed by most of the leading UK boat, Caravan & Heavy Plant hauliers working in France. Now 21 years later EAF Logistics Ltd is the leading Agent for bespoke permit routes throughout Europe and continues to enjoy close relations with Europe’s leading Abnomal Load carriers, Escort Vehicle operators and Ministry departments.
